FAITH FORMATION

Baptismal Preparation -
At St. Mary’s we believe parents are the first teachers of their children.  Our Baptismal Preparation classes help parents as they assume their responsibility of bringing up their children in the Catholic faith. Prepares parents and Godparents of children being baptized in their role as the primary religious educator.  We welcome new parents to the church and share with them a deep understanding of the nature of this holy sacrament.  Preparation sessions are required for first time parents. Family must be registered in the parish.
Please contact Deacon John Ladroga at the Parish Office at (508) 829-4508.

RCIA -
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is a process of study and faith formation for adults who desire full communion with the  Catholic Church.  The RCIA team provide spiritual companionship by sharing their own faith experiences.  It is a process through which adults are prepared for the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.  It is designed for people who have been baptized in other Christian traditions, those who have never been baptized and those who were baptized in the Catholic Church yet have not made their First Communion or been Confirmed.  Scripture sharing, information, and conversation and prayer are all part of this process.  Anyone interested in learning more about the Catholic faith is invited.  Parishioners are also welcome to become part of the RCIA team. Contact Deacon John Ladroga at the Parish Office (508) 829-4508.
