Ushers
These men and women offer assistance during weekend celebrations, as well as Holy Days. They greet and welcome the community gathering for worship, welcome and assist newcomers to the parish and assist with seating, guiding and helping during communion. They also assist in the collection each week, and present them in the offertory procession. They help to make sure the church is in order before and after each Mass.
Greeters
Being a greeter involves more than just standing at the door and shaking people's hands as they enter the church. It is a ministry. First Corinthians 12:28 refers to it as the ministry of helps. The Greeter helps the Pastor fulfill the vision God has given him by making those who come through the doors of the church feel at home. The responsibility of the greeter is to help all who come to worship feel joy, sincerity, importance, peace and comfort when they enter the doors of the our church home. Most of all, we help them feel welcomed. Marty Pellegrino - 508-829-9629; e-mail: martypellegrino@me.com Welcomes all who enter the Church doors for Sunday worship or Church functions.
